For over forty years, Shiro’s Saimin Haven has glorified the saimin. We serve over 60 varieties of saimin, as well as breakfast, lunch & dinner entrees. We make our own noodles in our factory in Kalihi so our product is guaranteed fresh. Our prices are affordable so as to accommodate the many customers who rely on us daily for their main meal. Favorites include hamburger steak, pork adobo, oxtail soup, beef stew, crispy pork belly, laulau, grilled mahi mahi, mochiko chicken. The walls of the restaurant are a testament to Mr. Shiro. Shiro wrote original poems weekly for over 40 years and some of these poems are posted on the walls. Shiro’s is a local kamaaina favorite and is a go-to destination for many tourists from Japan and the mainland.
